Double check the student is taking Algebra 2, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus 1, or AP Calculus AB. If they are, email me to setup a tutoring session. I will provide my phone number for speedier communication.
Once the appointment has been made and payment has been sent, I will email a Zoom link 15 minutes before the session. There might be a free Zoom account registration if this is the student's first time using Zoom.
Gather everything needed for the session. The student can email or text any important worksheets or problems ahead of time. Anything that can be provided before can save us time during the session.
During the session the student can use their own paper or even connect a writing tablet to their computer to share on the screen. I use an IPad with an Apple Pencil that is connected to my computer. While most students just use a traditional pencil and paper, writing on a tablet and screen sharing allow me to view their work.
I will provide any extra needed resources to the student at the end of the session. Sometimes I can provide a Google Classroom code for the needed resources. I have created worksheets, videos, reviews, answer keys etc. for just about every topic I tutor. The student can feel free to contact me if there is anything else I can help with.
My tutoring schedule is limited and spaces book up fast. The best way to make sure the student has a guaranteed spot is to setup a weekly schedule. We, of course, can chat about that as soon as the first session is scheduled.
